How to read your score
Strong on this sample. Confirm it with a full timed practice exam on questions you have not seen.
Near the line. Fix your weakest area before anything else, then test again on fresh questions.
Not yet. Spend a few focused sessions on your weakest area, then try a fresh set.
Why aim above 70%? Twenty questions is a small sample, and exam day adds nerves, unfamiliar wording and 5 to 10 unscored questions that use your time. A cushion is what keeps a decent day from turning into a $38 retake. Treat this result as a direction, not a verdict.

5 signs you are ready to book
- You score 70% or better on fresh, timed practice exams, more than once.
- You can state the New Jersey deadlines without looking: five business days to deposit escrow, three business days of attorney review, and when the Consumer Information Statement is due.
- You can explain why each wrong option is wrong, not just pick the right one.
- You work commission splits, prorations and LTV problems on paper, step by step.
- Your weakest area on this check is at or above 70%.

The New Jersey questions are where national-only prep falls short, and 22 of the 30 come from one area: the statutes and rules that govern licensees. These four pages are a useful starting point for reviewing NJ law.
